Adult Sunday School
Fairhaven’s Adult Sunday School is held on Sundays, following worship (approximately 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.). An interactive class is led by our Lay Leader, Geoffrey Kaiser. The class is currently studying, Making Sense of the Bible by Adam Hamilton. We are currently meeting via Zoom video conference. Please contact the church office to receive a link.
Adult Bible Study
Fairhaven’s Adult Bible Study is held every Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. Rev. Ken leads a discussion on the Scriptures, along with the history and traditions of Christianity and The United Methodist Church, frequently aided by video presentations with noted scholars and pastors. Our current study is Acts:Catching Up with the Spirit, by Matt Skinner. We are currently meeting via Zoom video conference. Please contact the church office to receive a link.
Children's Church School
Fairhaven’s Children’s Church School is held Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 p.m. via Zoom Video Conference. It is taught by many different volunteers from our congregation who are willing to both share their faith and learn from the faith of the children. Fairhaven’s Children’s Sunday School helps children develop faith foundations; to know the Bible and its faith traditions, to relate to God and the Church, and to practice their faith in daily living. Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Fairhaven’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a week-long program held during the summer in the mornings from 9am–12 noon. VBS is a 5-day specialized form of religious education which focuses on children. Children experience a joyful week of fun, exploration, friendship, discovery, and faith-building. Plans are being developed for VBS 2020, which may need to be offered virtually due to Covid-19 precautions.
